मा निषाद प्रतिष्ठां त्वमगमः शाश्वतीः समाः।
यत्क्रौञ्चमिथुनादेकम् अवधीः काममोहितम्॥२-१४॥
—श्रीमद्वाल्मीकिरामायणे बालकाण्डे
mā niṣāda pratiṣṭhāṁ tvamagamaḥ śāśvatīḥ samāḥ |
yatkrauñcamithunādekam avadhīḥ kāmamohitam ||2-14||
—śrīmadvālmīkirāmāyaṇe bālakāṇḍe
O hunter! You will not come to glory till the end of eternity.
For you have killed one from a pair of krauncha (heron?) birds, enraptured in love.

My mother dug up this shloka, having listened to a commentary on the Gita, where the following shloka was discussed:
प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वतीः समाः।
शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते॥६-४१॥

There is second interpretation of this Shloka which applies to Lord Ram. I am not able to recall the interpretation. Can anyone help?
