धारणाद्धर्ममित्याहुः

धारणाद्धर्ममित्याहुः धर्माद्धारयते प्रजाः।
यस्याद्धारणसंयुक्तं स धर्म इति निश्चयः॥
dhāraṇāddharmamityāhuḥ dharmāddhārayate prajāḥ|
yasyāddhāraṇasaṁyuktaṁ sa dharma iti niścayaḥ||
The word “dharma” is derived from verb “dhāraṇa“. It is “dharma“, which holds the people (society) together. Hence, if something is able to hold people together, it is cenrtainly dharma.

शक्तिः सङ्घे कलौ युगे

कृते मन्त्रप्रयोगे वा त्रेतायां तन्त्रसाधने।
द्वापरे व्यूहरचने शक्तिः सङ्घे कलौ युगे॥
kṛte mantraprayoge vā tretāyāṁ tantrasādhane|
dvāpare vyūharacane śaktiḥ saṅghe kalau yuge||
In Krita yuga, the chanting of mantras, in Tretayuga, tantra sadhana.
In Dvaparayuga, the creation of formations, while unity gives strength in Kaliyuga

ऐक्यं बलं समाजस्य

ऐक्यं बलं समाजस्य तदभावे स दुर्बलः।
तस्मादैक्यं प्रशंसन्ति दृढं राष्ट्रहितैषिणः॥
aikyaṁ balaṁ samājasya tadabhāve sa durbalaḥ|
tasmādaikyaṁ praśaṁsanti dṛḍhaṁ rāṣṭrahitaiṣiṇaḥ||
Unity is the strength of any society and it (society) is weak without
it. Hence those who wish the good of the nation strongly praise unity.
