पात्र अपात्रविशेष

पात्र अपात्रविशेष अस्ति धेनुपन्नगयोरिव।
तृणादुत्पद्यते दुग्धं दुग्धात् उत्पद्यते विषम्॥
pātra apātraviśeṣa asti dhenupannagayoriva|
tṛṇādutpadyate dugdhaṁ dugdhāt utpadyate viṣam||

"The qualities of the one with character and one without is similar to that of a cow and a snake. [While one] derives milk out of grass, [the other] derives poison out of milk!"
